Authorities started implementing road closures on Sunday night as part of security measures for the June 30 inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
Starting 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, the following roads around the National Museum in Manila were closed to motorists, according to a report by Mai Bermudez on GMA News' Unang Balita on Monday:Maria Orosa St. from TM Kalaw to Padre Burgos General Luna St. from Padre Burgos-Muralla St.Marcos is set to take his oath of office at the National Museum.
Aside from MMDA traffic enforcers, personnel from the Manila Police District, National Capital Region Police Office , City Government of Manila, and the Presidential Security Group will also be deployed on that day to ensure security, peace, and order.from flying inside a one-kilometer radius of the National Museum, the NCRPO said.
