The recent anti-illegal drugs operation in San Mateo led to the arrest of two men and the confiscation of 17 pieces of suspected shabu on Monday, May 2.
Reports from the office of Rizal Police Provincial Office Director, Col. Dominic Baccay showed that two suspects, Jorge Cantado, alias “Tatong,” and Jericho Barredo were caught in a buy-bust operation on Camia Street, Dona Pepeng, Barangay Banaba, San Mateo. Police said the two suspects yielded some 12 grams of suspected shabu after an undercover operative of the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Provincial Police Office was able to buy the shabu worth P81,600.
