She also revealed after her breast cancer diagnosis years ago that she wrote a song called “Throw Me A Party,” and it’s based on the two things she would want him to do if she were to pass before him. “If something happens and I should go before you, I just want you to know there’s a couple things that I want,” she explained.“The second was that I wanted a party! I wanted to have a celebration, and I wanted to have a lot of singing and dancing and people telling stories, and to feel like that was being celebrated. And so, the song came out of that.”
