Restaurant reservations are seeing big dips in cities where vaccine mandates were implemented.

On the flip side, restaurants in cities with no vaccine mandates are reporting higher numbers of reservations made this month compared to pre-pandemic data. The data show states with stricter mandates also have sinking reservations overall compared to 2019. Illinois, for example, saw its biggest dip on New Year's Day with at -72%, and its highest day on Jan. 14 at -26%. While California saw its worst day at -44% on Jan. 10 and best day on Jan. 16 at -16%.
