Reporters in attendance at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Saturday, loudly cheered after President Joe Biden acknowledged he was running for re-election during his remarks.
"This is one of those moments where you just play the what-if-Donald-Trump? game and the room would be silent, or full of boos," said co-host Pete Hegseth, who remarked that the White House Correspondents' Dinner has turned into a"giant lovefest" for the Democratic Party and the establishment inside D.C.

"In a lot of ways, this dinner sums up my first two years in office: I’ll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions and cheerfully walk away," the president said as reporters clapped and cheered.
Washington Post columnist George Will said neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris should seek the White House in 2024.
