The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration said on Sunday that the process of repatriating the remains of three Filipinos who lost their lives during the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas militants may encounter delays.

OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio explained that it would usually take about a week to repatriate the bodies during normal circumstances.

"Ang flights ang consideration natin. We are exploring all possibilities, all channels para maiuwi natin sa lalong madaling panahon itong ating mga kababayan,” Ignacio said.The three Filipino victims have been identified as Loreta Alacre, a caregiver from Negros Oriental, Angeline Aguirre, a nurse, and Paul Vincent Castelvi, a 42-year-old caregiver.
