Brown maintained the narrow lead she first established when the two went head to head last year in a special election in the Cleveland district. With 44% reporting, Brown was leading with nearly 64% of the vote. In 2021, Brown won with 50.2%, while Turner received 44%.The incumbent will face the Republican nominee in the November election, but Brown will likely sail to victory due to the district's heavy Democratic skew.
