Ilhan Omar, according to three people familiar with internal discussions.
But Omar has not apologized for her most recent statements, instead defending them in Twitter postings Sunday. “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar said at the event.
