Renton police are investigating a homicide after a man died early Saturday morning.

Officers went to the 100 Block of Logan Ave S. at 3:16 a.m. after dispatch received reports of a gunshot victim in the area.Detectives interviewed several witnesses when they arrived at the scene.
Police said it’s still early in the investigation, so there is no further information on what led up to the shooting. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call 911 and reference Case #23-12354 or email the Renton police tip line at [email protected].
