Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla says something 'very important' may happen in the Degamo murder case involving embattled Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves in the next 10 days.

seeking to dismiss the murder case against the lawmaker for Degamo's killing, claiming an"utter lack of confidence to support a probable cause."While he maintained his innocence, the congressman has been refusing to return to the Philippines after flying to the United States early this year due to what he said were threats to his life.

Among those the DOJ chief said he expects in the coming days is the decision on whether or not Teves will be tagged as a terrorist. “This is a very sophisticated setup that we are fighting against and the government cannot be left defenseless in the light of all of these sophisticated ways of breaking the law,” Remulla said.
