Gomez celebrates Mass at the mission at 8 a.m. The walk, beginning at 9 a.m., will end with a prayer service, 2:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple St., Los Angeles. There will be rest and water stops and a lunch along the route . The walk is part of the Jubilee Year, “Forward in Mission,” that began on Sept. 11, 2021 and runs through Sept. 10.
