In addition to generating $6.4 million in sales tax revenue for Denver last year, Red Rocks sent $7.1 million to the state’s coffers, and another $7.5 million for other local governments in the Denver metro area. Despite Red Rocks’ reputation, the venue “must continue to have the resources needed to provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for artists and visitors.
