Wide receiver Gunner Romney announced on his Instagram account that he will return to the Cougars next season. His announcement comes less than a week after his brother, Baylor, indicated that he will not return to BYU.A post shared by Gunner Romney Romney, a junior in 2021, played 10 games for the Cougars and tallied 594 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He’s caught nine total touchdown passes since 2018 and amassed 1900 yards.
Romney returns amid a host of other Cougars already having announced their intentions to leave for the NFL draft or simply exhausting their eligibility.
