Donavan Brazier
will return to the track after dominating his indoor opener on January 25 in Boston. He ran a world-leading time of 1:14.39 for 600 meters in his first race since winning 800-meter gold at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha. In the process, he broke aBrazier will be tested by Bryce Hoppel, who achieved a long winning streak with 21 consecutive victories for the University of Kansas last year, including an NCAA title.
Millrose will be the first race since the 2019 outdoor world championship final that the 800-meter specialists will compete against each other.
