The Los Angeles Rams have been forced to shuffle around the offensive line, but recent acquisition Kevin Dotson has earned head coach Sean McVay’s praise.
The Los Angeles Rams deserve some credit. All summer, fans, pundits, and media members alike were hesitant to buy into Los Angeles’ offense, in large part due to the uncertainty up front. Injuries, position switches, and starting battles meant there would be little continuity and even less confidence.
The line has held up its end of the bargain, giving quarterback Matthew Stafford enough time to fuel the breakout campaigns of two receivers. Perhaps head coach Sean McVay knows what he’s doing. “I thought he did a really good job,” McVay began. “I thought he played with physicality, thought he got good removal … I thought he did a really nice job in protection and just straining to finish.”
“I thought he did a great job,” McVay said. “Especially when we were operating on our silent cadence in the gun.”
