Rainy weather persists across parts of Luzon, Visayas due to LPA READ:
Several parts of Luzon and Visayas will experience rains due to a low pressure area , the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday, Feb. 19.
The LPA has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression within 24 hours but the weather bureau is still not ruling out the possibility of intensification into a cyclone in the next few days. Light to occasional heavy rains may also affect Metro Manila, Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Batanes, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, northern Palawan, Aklan, Capiz, Antique, Iloilo, and Guimaras.
