DAVAO CITY – Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, Police Regional Office -Davao region chief, said that Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is just hiding at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Barangay Buhangin here.Torre said that based on tips from informants received through a hotline, the fugitive pastor is just staying within the 30-hectare compound.
“Nandiyan siya, ginagamit lang niya ang mga tao para i-shield siya. Based on the information that we have, we are inclined to really believe na nandiyan siya ,” he said. He maintained that this act was not done in self-defense as claimed by the counsels of Quiboloy during a Senate hearing on Monday, August 5.
Torre said that police received information after they opened a hotline where individuals can report the whereabouts of Quiboloy and his co-accused.
