The suspect had a warrant of arrest for violation of Presidential Decree 1612 issued by Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 219 Presiding Judge Janet Abergos-Samar on March 28, 2021, with a recommended bail of P120,000. According to the police, the operation stemmed from a series of surveillance in his last known addresses and frequently visited places in Paterno, Ramon Magsaysay, Kaolin, and G. Del Pilar Streets in Parang, Marikina.
