ATLANTA — Quarterback Jaden Rashada has committed to Georgia after leaving Arizona State in the transfer portal.
Rashada was released from his national letter of intent after the Gator Collective — an independent fundraising group that’s loosely tied to the university and pays student-athletes for use of their name, image and likeness — Rashada began last season as a starter, but played in only three games due to a knee injury. He threw for 485 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions.
The Cardinals have made State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home turf and the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix is home to both the Suns and the Mercury. The Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers play at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale.
