I remember texting him and saying, “Is everything OK?” He was just like, “Sometimes, you’ve got to move on and do other things. I might take a year off and coach the Canadian Olympic team.” The Sixers were rolling at this point, on this playoff run. It starts getting tough, and I know the relationship that Coach and Daryl have.
