We sit down with National Wrestling Alliance president and rock star sage Billy Corgan for a Q&A in advance of the NWA 'Samhain' event in Cleveland.

We’re both at an age where it can be challenging to tap into youthful energy in a way where it still feels meaningful. But there’s certainly a lot of overlap in this Venn diagram of yours. Because of the athleticism happening in the 21st century, the sport has gotten more dangerous on many levels. We preach working a style with more story to make the product safer overall, but secondarily, that the moves be connected to storylines. We don’t just dothings for the sake of doing dangerous things; we mitigate risks against the story we’re trying to tell. And the talent, of course, isThe worst thing that happens, and, of course, it does happen, is when somebody is legitimately hurt.
