Prosecutors have asked a Seoul court to sentence K-pop boy band VIXX member Ravi to two years in prison for evading his military service by pretending to have epilepsy.

On April 11, the first trial was held at the Seoul Southern District Court for nine people including Ravi who were charged for violating the Military Service Act.During the trial, prosecutors asked the court to put Ravi in jail for violating the law.

He was indicted without detention last month on charges of attempting to be exempted from military service by submitting the false medical diagnosis to the Military Manpower Administration, which supervises military service, a mandatory duty for all men in South Korea.
