Costume designer Graham Churchyard recently explained that Professor X's costume Easter egg in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was originally Kevin Feige's idea. The fantasy-horror film finds the titular hero jumping from one universe to another in an attempt to protect the young and inexperienced inter-dimensional being America Chavez from the Darkhold-corrupted Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch .
