Jah Born isn’t alone in the sentiment. Fellow producer, podcast engineer and rapper John Brown agrees that artists shouldn't get into rap, but mostly because they might not be prepared to face the industry's financial instability.

Jeremy Jones of Dallas commented on Jah's post, “Unfortunately, that’s a terrible conspiracy theory that’s being circulated. Rappers are actually the hardest people to insure for various reasons. Please stop circulating false info like this. This man lost his life like a lot of other brothers in the streets. This is bigger than rap.
