CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — New Police Regional Office 3 director BGen. Redrico Maranan has ordered a crackdown on loose firearms in the region as a key priority in his comprehensive strategy to enhance security leading to the 2025 elections. Under his directive, PRO-3 executed a series of operations in Central Luzon to combat the proliferation of illegal firearms in the region.
'In addition to these efforts, Maranan also announced the peaceful staging of the weeklong filing of certificates of candidacy for the 2025 polls in Central Luzon.A total of 3,384 candidates filed their CoC before the Commission on Elections .This success is attributed to the unwavering dedication of the police force and the collaborative efforts of partner agencies deployed to Comelec offices from October 1 to 9.
