Prince William and Duchess Kate met with first responders to thank them for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with staff, who have been fielding five times as many calls as usual from the public, and spoke with Garrett Emmerson, the chief executive of the London Ambulance Service, to see how they've been dealing with the influx of calls.
Prince William thanked the staff for the important work they've been doing during the coronavirus outbreak and for taking care of the public. He also extended Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles' regards to the London Ambulance Service staff and encouraged the public to stay home to prevent the spread of the virus.
