'Presumed human remains' found in the debris field of doomed Titan submersible, US Coast Guard says
[Breaking news, published at 6:14 p.m. ET] The US Coast Guard has recovered “presumed human remains” from the seafloor in the area of the Titan submersible’s debris field and will conduct a formal analysis, the military branch said Wednesday. [Original story, published at 2:15 p.m.
The company that owns the remotely operated vehicles that brought Titan’s remains to the surface, Pelagic Research Services, for now has “successfully completed” the offshore work and Wednesday morning was “in the process of demobilization from the Horizon Arctic,” which owns the ships, it told CNN.
