BUDGET REVIEW. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presides over a meeting with Executive Secretary Bersamin, DOF Secretary Ralph Recto, DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan to review the 2025 national budget, ensuring alignment with key development priorities.President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

He assured the public that “nothing will disadvantage key sectors” in the final version of the budget bill. Senator Grace Poe, for her part, said the President’s decision to review the bill ratified by the bicameral conference committee is “a sign of a healthy democracy.” “It’s better to have an acceptable budget law than to have a budget law that the people would oppose, just for the sake of having it signed into law before December 31,” he added.
