The comedy, directed by Paul Feig, premiered in 2011 and follows Annie Walker , a former pastry chef whose string of bad luck worsens when asked to serve as the maid of honor at her best friend Lillian's wedding. Byrne portrayed the wealthy and arrogant Helen Harris III, one of Lilian's bridesmaids who constantly competes with Annie.
