Police received a call around 1 p.m. of a person who was robbed of a laptop and other items at 63rd Street and El Cajon Boulevard. Officers later spotted the suspect at Winona Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard. The suspect took off running, then entered a stranger's home on Madeline Street and 62nd Street, where he barricaded himself according to SDPD Officer John Buttle.Stay informed about local news and weather.
