One of the biggest knitting websites in the world will ban users from expressing support for President Trump, saying that to do so constitutes “white supremacy,” The Guardian reports., a site for fans of knitting and crocheting that claims to have more than 8 million members, said that any expression of support for President Trump and his administration in forum posts or on personal profile pages would be forbidden.

“We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. Support of the Trump administration is undeniably support for white supremacy,”Ravelry said the new policy does not ban participation of people who support Trump. “We are not endorsing the Democrats nor banning Republicans,” the site said. “We are definitely not banning conservative politics. Hate groups and intolerance are different from other types of political positions.
