Supply chain issues have now come for one of the Bay Area's most iconic dishes.
“Our belief is that overall, dine-in is a better experience,” said Tran. “People come to our restaurants, they try [the tea leaf salad] tableside, and they get the overall experience of discovering something new and learning about our culture.”
“It's been interesting to see that customers are able to discover new dishes and new salads that have always been on the menu and have always been delicious. They just never had a chance to branch out and explore,” said Tran. “I think it's really been a positive thing for us to know that we are more than our tea leaf salads.”
