Voting takes place today, Tuesday, March 5, at the Carlson Center between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Political season is upon us, and today is Super Tuesday. This is the day Republican voters will cast their ballot for who they want as the Republican nominee on the 2024 Presidential Election.
Super Tuesday is being held in 16 states and one territory, including Alaska, according to the Associated Press. The names of the republican nominees on the Alaska ballot are former President Donald Trump, former South Carolina Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.Only registered Republicans are able to vote today. If you choose to change your party affiliation you can do so at the Carlson Center before you vote.
The Alaska Democratic Primary will be held in April.
