The European Union has blamed Belarus for forcing migrants across the border to Poland in an alleged effort to destabilize the regional bloc.
Polish forces on Tuesday fired water cannons at migrants along the country’s border with Belarus as thousands of people gathered for days in the area attempted to reach the European Union, a brewing crisis that has been blamed on Belarusian dictator Lukashenko’s regime....
Poland’s interior ministry said at least one policeman was seriously injured in the clashes and has been hospitalized with a suspected fractured skull.
