Two people were shot and killed at a Deep Ellum bar Wednesday morning, according to police.

The man died at a hospital, as did a woman who was standing inside the bar and was hit by an apparent stray bullet that went through a window. In social-media posts, witnesses described the bloody and tumultuous aftermath of the shooting. One video posted to Facebook from someone who said they were at Bitter End showed a woman bleeding on the ground while bystanders tried to comfort her.How the Dallas Zoo mystery unraveled
A bullet hole could be seen in one of the establishment’s front doors, in addition to a second hole that spiderwebbed a window next to the entrance. Several workers labored to remove the glass and board up the frames with sheets of plywood.
