The driver of the car that rammed into a truck may have fallen asleep that caused the fatal accident in Danao City, northern Cebu on Tuesday, Feb. 21, police said.
CEBU CITY —
Mondejar, his wife Imelda and daughter Erin were killed in the accident, which happened on a national highway in Barangay Dunggoan, Danao.“It was possible that the driver fell asleep on the wheel but we are investigating further to determine what really happened,” said Gomez, investigator of the Danao City police.
Batobalonos and his co-worker, Roldan Dino Guerra, were headed to Bantayan Island to deliver chicken feeds that they hauled from a warehouse in Consolacion town.
