Police ID 53-year-old man killed in shooting in East Village [Breaking]
A 53-year-old man who died after being shot multiple times in East Village last week was identified by police on Tuesday.
Paramedics administered life saving measures on the man before taking him to a hospital, where he died. It is the second deadly shooting in the area in less than two weeks. On May 23, a 20-year-old man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting just outside San Diego Central Library. Two days later, a suspect was arrested. Neither the slain victim nor the suspect was homeless.
