The death of the Michigan man has been deemed suspicious by police.
deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a home in the 7800 block of Caberfae Trail around 2:10 a.m. Tuesday for a wellness check on the man who owned the home.
When police arrived, a resident at the house answered and told police the man they were looking for was sleeping in a bedroom. Police insisted that they make contact with the man and were allowed into the house. Police found the man dead in a bathroom, and it appeared he had been there for some time.
The roommate eventually told police the man had died about a month ago. The roommate was then taken to a police substation to be interviewed by detectives. The identities of the deceased man and the roommate have not been released.
