A 30-year-old man has been arrested after police say he was connected to a shooting that happened Saturday in York., police said Brandon Ellerbe, of York, was arrested at 7 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of East Philadelphia Street.
Crews said York City police were dispatched at 3:51 p.m. Saturday to the 1000 block of Richland Avenue for a reported shooting. While on the scene, crews found a 65-year-old male, later identified as Sterling Miller of York, with a single gunshot wound, police said. Miller was transported to York hospital where he remains in critical condition.Miller was sitting on the sidewalk when a man walked up to him, shot him in the head and walked awayOfficers don’t know if Miller knew Ellerbe, but police say the shooting appears targeted, according to a report fromPolice said Ellerbe is being held without bail.
