Dallas police are asking people to avoid an area near Keeton Park Golf Course in southeastern Dallas as they conduct an “active police investigation.”said on Twitter

about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday. More than two dozen squad cars, SWAT and Dallas Fire-Rescue units could be seen near the golf course, and authorities blocked off the intersection of Jim Miller and Bruton. A police call log showed that officers responded to an “assist officer” call near that location just after 10 a.m.. Jamie Landers is a breaking news reporter at The Dallas Morning News.
