THE Philippine National Police is looking into the possible lapses of the police when it responded and attended to the road rage incident which involved a former policeman and a cyclist.
“Kami sa hanay ng pulis ay talaga namang hindi lang disappointed, sa nangyayari na ganito ay talagang nakakagalit dahil alam namin na hindi nagkulang ‘yung pamunuan ng PNP sa pagpapaala, reminders sa ating pulis, subalit ito nga tinitingnan natin bagama’t ito ay dismiss na ay sana nakagawa pa rin tayo ng pamamaraan,” he said.
The QCPD filed on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, charges of alarm and scandal against Willie Gonzales which is punishable by imprisonment from one day to one month depending on the order of the court. Gonzales said immediately after the incident, they agreed to forgive each other and just forget that it happened.The FEO immediately revoked Gonzales’ License to Own and Possess Firearm , Firearm Registration and Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence .
