At the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs, Phillies’ JT Realmuto was at bat with Astros closing pitcher Ryan Pressly at the mound.
Pressly pitches and Realmuto hits a fly ball toward the center field. McCormick ran quickly towards the wall, jumped high, and caught the ball with his glove while slamming the chain-link fence, then landed on the ground.“It’s a tough one. It’s one of my better catches. One of the most important games of my life,” McCormick said.
