If you would like alerts on this and other ADOT news, sign up above to receive our GovDelivery notices.The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on Interstate 8 in Yuma beginning Monday, Oct. 24, at 6 a.m.
The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays beginning Monday, Oct. 24, and ending late winter 2023:A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.Restrictions will be lifted on Veterans Day and the Thanksgiving holiday beginning Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Friday, Nov. 25, and Monday, Nov. 28.
The restrictions are needed as crews replace the pavement and complete spot repairs as part of the Interstate 8: Wellton to Avenue 36E pavement life extension.
