Many a commuter in the Philippines has seen one: from the 3.8-kilometer mural facing EDSA in Camp Aguinaldo, to the ceiling mural adorning the Paseo De Roxas underpass. Ang pinakaunang mural sa aming street art campaign ay ang dolphin mural sa Camiguin Island sa Calayan Group of Islands, mga isla sa hilaga kung saan kami nagri-research ng mga balyena taun taon.
Nagsimula ako magpinta ng mga dolphins pagkatapos ko mapanood ang isang documentary film tungkol sa dolphin trade and slaughters. Bilang isang environmentalist, mabigat sa loob ko makita ang maramihang pagpatay sa mga creatures na matagal ko nang pinagtutuunan ng oras para mapag-aralan.
