Over a two day period last week, the facility took in 40 animals with serious health problems. That included a 5-year-old pit bill named Libby with a tumor on her shoulder. Less than a day after that, 18 cats taken from a one-bedroom apartment arrived at the shelter “dirty and fearful.”
