PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is confident the country can maintain its “leadership” in the seafaring sector amid the ongoing review of the quality of education of Filipino sailors., Marcos noted how Filipino seafarers continue to have a good reputation abroad for being industrious and resilient.

“Let this time be a celebration for you and may it provide a continuing inspiration for you to sustain our excellence in leadership in this important sector,” Marcos added.
