Manila, Philippines - According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the Philippines will experience generally fair weather over the next 24 hours, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms anticipated in some areas. Weather specialist Rhea Torres of Pagasa mentioned that there are no tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas in the forecast. The northeast monsoon, or 'amihan,' is currently affecting only Batanes in extreme Northern Luzon, while a shear line is causing overcast skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Norte, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
