The Philippines registered 274 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, while the active tally rose to 9,603.
The National Capital Region logged the highest number of new infections with 1,072 in the past two weeks, followed by the Davao Region with 405, Northern Mindanao with 344, Calabarzon with 327, and Central Visayas with 172.A total of 2,948 individuals were tested on Friday, and 278 testing laboratories submitted data.
As of Friday, the country’s bed occupancy rate was 14.7%, with 3,523 occupied and 20,469 vacant beds. —
