The Philippines recorded 481 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, while the active tally increased to 11,975.

The recovery tally climbed to 3,991,318 with 247 new recoveries.In the past two weeks, the National Capital Region had the highest number of new cases , followed by Calabarzon with 1,064, Central Luzon with 519, Western Visayas with 334, and Cagayan Valley with 314.

As of Tuesday, the national bed occupancy rate was 20.1%, with 5,432 occupied and 21,585 vacant beds.VBL, GMA Integrated News
