MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Red Cross on Friday said it will donate $100,000 each to Turkey and Syria which were hit by atotal of 228 winter tents will be shipped to Turkey on Saturday, February 18, according to the PRC.“This initiative is in addition to the financial aid amounting to US$100,000 the PRC allocated to each of Türkiye and Syria,” the humanitarian organization said in a statement.
“The winter tents will provide temporary shelter and help warm the quake victims in Türkiye as the country is still experiencing winter conditions,” it added.
